Marcos and I met 5 years ago and have been together ever since. We have two 8 year olds of our own and a 2 1/2 year old together. Our kids are our life and make our relationship what it is today. We are a very outgoing,fun,genuine couple. Marcos proposed at my birthday dinner on February 20th this year in front of our closest friends and family. I couldn't have asked for a better proposal. As I sit here staring at the screen, trying to think of how to tell you why we deserve to win. The best way to tell you is to tell you about us. We have been together for three years and a year ago welcomed our first precious baby into the world.
This past year has changed our lives completely. Andrew works full time to support us as I stay home with our baby boy. When Andrew is home I work part time, and now have added a second job to my schedule.

The day I met Autumn I knew she was the girl I wanted to spend my time with. Unfortunately, she did not feel the same about me. I spent two month working on a first date. After our first “lunch” date I waited one month for the first kiss and then another before she would let me call her my girlfriend. I was keeping her! After a year of dating I asked Autumn to marry me on February 2nd. I quickly found out weddings are expensive! I met Kai at sixteen in an unconventional way, an online game. Within just a few short weeks, I was hooked on this hilarious and super polite Canuck. We dated throughout highschool before the distance (and borders) became too much for our young age.
We lost touch over the next five years, but I could never completely forget him. The powers of Facebook eventually brought us back together and it was like nothing had changed.
The immigration process has made for a long two year engagement but we’re finally there. However, it’s been especially rough this past year as Kai was diagnosed with Lupus and advanced osteoarthritis. Due to this, he could no longer work in the construction field that he loved. That, coupled with the thousands we’ve spent on immigration, leaves us with absolutely no funds to finally be able to officially celebrate our union with friends and family. |

It began in September 2010 we started as good friends Orlandor was a student at Rocky studying to be a teacher and I was a single mother of 3 boys. We instantly knew we would be together for ever. It wasn't until December of 2012 that I knew Orlandor was the right one my mother became ill and continued to be ill until March of 2013 she passed due to health issues. Orlandor was there every step of the way we moved her in with us he sacrificed working full time on top of helping me with my mother. We have an ultimate story for an ultimate wedding. After a couple weeks living together, I had an accident where he helped save my life. I received a TBI among many other injuries. After waking up from my coma and relearning to walk, read, and every daily function had me thinking we were over. I remember looking in his eyes at the hospital when he was helping feed me and knew it was over. After a month in the hospital he took me my first weekend home. He sat me down, talking about before the accident. I thought I knew what was coming. Then he got down in front of me with, “You’re going to be ok. I almost lost you Kelsey, and I‘m not going to ever let go of you. I want you to know I’m not going anywhere, will you marry me?" |
